Stop by after a late match at the US Open tonight because it is right by The Quin. Ordered the Rigatoni Bolognaise for self and the wife had the Chicken Scallopini. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Wife only finished only half of her dinner so I had the leftover packed for lunch the next day at the US Open. Will come again as it is so convenient to The Quin

My personal experience with this restaurant is pretty crazy. When I was attending college in the city back in 2007, this was my go-to spot and they NEVER missed. I would always get either the burger with blue cheese or the steak au poivre. Flash forward to 2024. I haven't been here in 17 years. I make a lunch reservation. And the food is still flawless! The service is still flawless!! Nearly two decades later, it remains the shining example of dining excellence in NYC. I was astounded. You can count on one hand the number of places that have maintained that much consistency for that long. Run don't walk to this place. It's that damn good.

Best ambiance Just fun to have dinner Best onion soup and a great hamburger Always have a great time

Every time I come to NYC I have a meal here. Usually something French inspired and usually with friends. Tonight I came alone and had a great indulgence. I ordered a bowl of their mussels and French fries. They were luscious. Fresh and sweet. Inside of being cooked in white wine they were bathed in cream. To my great horror and delight. What a delicious high fat treat, when accompanied by piping hot fries. I wish they didn't keep coming over to ask me if I was done. It's not like there was a line waiting for my table. Makes the dining feel rushed. Anyway. Tomorrow I eat one lettuce leaf.

from the food to the vibe this place was amazing. The waiter had Greek recommendations. The ambience is quite enough to have a conversation, but good for groups. Highly recommend this place I had ordered the salmon, pomegranate salad, which was amazing. Also ordered the salmon, mango sushi, which was great for dessert I got the cheesecake in New York. You must try New York style. Cheesecake! The dining area is big enough for groups as well as single individuals. They have a bar area where you can sit separately. It's a cute little place off of 57. It's close to Rockefeller Center as well best Christmas dinner date ever please give them a try! You will not be disappointed with their French and Chinese inspired cuisine. Perfect blend of.

The service at Rue 57 saved our Thanksgiving Day experience! They had a buyout for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, which means they really didn't have to go above and beyond to make someone else's customers happy, but they did! Although the food wasn't the star of the morning, it was good. The location was obviously the most important factor for making this experience great. You could see and hear all the action of the parade, which made the ambiance exactly what we were looking for. The only thing that could make this experience better is if Rue 57 did it themselves, because their staff saved the day!

This has been a go restaurant for me to have French bistro food type food for years when I am in beautiful midtown Manhattan. I love their omelettes, soups, salads cocktails, coffee etc. The Ambience is nice I prefer lunch time midweek. The servers are always great knowing the menu in detail which is awesome.

Great early dinner. Our waiter gave great service along with being very comedic. The ambiance was true French. As a true Francophile, I felt at home. As suggested by Yelp- the French onion soup was fantastic. Steak Au Poivre was absolutely delicious. A nice thick piece of steak that was seasoned well and cooked perfect. We really enjoyed our dinner.

Excellent wait staff Food was fresh and delicious Considering location prices were reasonable The decor was very NYC Great for families Great for meetings Great for large groups Indoor/outdoor seating Walkable
